Dining at Wormsley
An evening of fine dining
"...the Wormsley restaurant is superb - the best catering arrangement, including food, wine list and service, of any other opera company in the kingdom."

Paul Levy, Arts Journal

Garsington Opera's long dinner interval lasts approximately 85 minutes and is a feature of an evening at Wormsley.

All dining options below can now be booked online. The 2019 menu and booking link will be available from January 2019.

Delight in a three-course dinner designed by Michelin Star chef, Michael North. Tables are set in the beautifully dressed Long Room Restaurant looking out over the splendour of the Cricket Ground. Offering a sumptuous range of dishes using locally sourced ingredients, dinner in the restaurant adds a delicious flourish to an evening at Wormsley.

Order a picnic
Enjoy a mouth-watering gourmet or traditional picnic from Feasts, complete with coffee and chocolates. Served at complimentary tables overlooking the Cricket Ground or, for a small additional charge, in booked tents in the Deer Park, picnics are presented in a wicker hamper and include a generous selection of al fresco favourites.

Bring a picnic
Settle at a table by the lake, take in the panorama from the upper terrace of the Opera Pavilion, enjoy a private party in the Granary, reserve a picnic tent in the Deer Park, or join the celebratory atmosphere on one of our free tables in a shared tent.

Perfect to share prior to the performance, canapés can be collected from the Champagne Bar or delivered to guests' picnic tents.

Afternoon tea
Take traditional afternoon tea served in vintage china next to the famous Wormsley Cricket Ground, or make it extra special with a bottle of champagne.
