We’re delighted to announce a new programme of concert recitals and events at Garsington Studios in Autumn 2025.
A flagship partnership with Oxford International Song Festival celebrates the work of Schubert and his contemporaries which were written for sociable gatherings – the original ‘Schubertiade’ – and which reveal some of his most joyful, playful songs and also his most profound and intimate music. With an optional dining experience, this will be a very special celebration leading up to the opening of their 2025 Festival.
We will also be opening our doors to successful returning events, namely our Open Day and Discovery Workshops. Free of charge, they are perfect for those who are curious about what we do, regardless of your operatic knowledge. They are designed to reveal our world, both behind the scenes and on the stage.
In a brand-new strand of programming, we’re delighted to host an interactive performance for ages 3 to 7 and their families. We will welcome English Touring Opera this November for their touring production Little Terror which is all about understanding emotions and finding inner strength. This performance has also been created in collaboration with, and for Learning Disabled audiences, meaning there’s no expectation to sit still and quietly, but every hope that families will have a wonderful time!
We have some very exciting recitals and partnerships for Spring 2026 which will be announced soon, so make sure you’re signed up to our mailing list and follow us on social media to be among the first to find out.
