Conditions of Sale

All tickets sales are final and tickets are not refundable unless an event is cancelled or rescheduled by Garsington Opera. Subject to availability, tickets may be exchanged to another performance, provided notice is given at least seven days prior to the original performance date.

For sold out performances, Garsington Opera offers a resale service. All resale requests must be made in writing. Please e-mail the Box Office in the first instance with any resale enquiries on boxoffice@garsingtonopera.org. Tickets accepted for resale will be listed through our booking website and Box Office channels. A resale is never guaranteed and reimbursement for resold tickets is made only to the original purchaser. Tickets may only be sold for the original value as booked. Bookers whose tickets have been accepted for resale are responsible for contacting the Box Office if they would like to know the status of their ticket listing. Unsold returned tickets may be withdrawn from resale at any time at the original purchaser’s request and/or at the Management’s discretion. The resale service is offered subject to a £10 per-ticket administration fee.

All tickets are sold subject to the right of the Management to make any alterations to the published operas, dates or casts which may be necessary owing to illness or other unavoidable causes.

Photography, filming and sound recording of any kind are strictly prohibited during performances. By entering the estate at Wormsley you agree to being filmed or photographed, which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes.

Dining Booking Policy

Dietary

  • The safety and wellbeing of our guests is at the heart of what we do and we take all reasonable steps to avoid any risk of cross-contact in our kitchens, however, we do use a variety of ingredients in our kitchens to which people may be allergic, so we would ask that you consult with our catering team should you have any specific allergies or food intolerances.
  • Dietary requirements must be provided at the time of booking including details of all of the dishes in your order to which these requirements apply.
  • In addition to providing dietary requirements in advance, please make yourself known to the waiting staff on arrival and ask for the Allergen Information Folder.
  • To discuss requirements in more detail, or for severe allergies, please contact the Garsington Opera Box Office.
  • When you notify us of a dietary requirement, we will pass your contact details to our caterer, Payne & Gunter, so they can ensure we comply with your messages. This is the only permission they will have for using your data, and they will delete your contact details after the Season.
