Ahead of this summer’s Gala Concert in celebration of the opening of Garsington Studios, we are pleased to share the full programme of events for the day, and the concert programme.
This special event will not only feature a look back at some of our most memorable musical moments, but it will be an opportunity to visit our new Studios facility. Within the studios, we will not only be showcasing our 2024 cohort of Alvarez Young Artists in short recitals, but our Youth Company will be in an open rehearsal so guests will be able to see the studios in action. Whist offering all of the quintessential elements of a summer’s evening at Wormsley, we will also be inviting the whole audience to join us for a Champagne toast to the Studios prior to the performance.

Order of the day
2pm Grounds open for audience members
2pm onwards Getty XI cricket match
2pm-4.30pm Studios open for visits
Please note, if you wish to attend the Studios this must be done at the beginning of your visit due to the one-way traffic system. No traffic will be permitted to travel from the Opera Pavilion back up to the Studios until after the Gala Concert.

2.15pm – 5.15pm Library Tours (pre-booked via our Box Office, additional cost £15 per person. Bookings open in April)
2.30pm-5pm Walled Garden open with opportunity to meet the gardener, via our usual complimentary vintage shuttle bus
5.45pm Champagne Reception for all audience members
6.30pm Gala Concert with 90 minute dinner interval
9.50pm Concert finish time
