About Us
We would be delighted to welcome you as a member of Garsington Opera to play a vital role in helping us continue our work, both on the stage and in the community.
Garsington Opera is a registered charity which receives no public subsidy. As such, it is only with the generous support of our members that we can achieve the artistic quality that you see on our stage in our award-winning productions as well as supporting our GO Participate programme which aims to enrich the lives of as many people as possible through opera.
By becoming a member of Garsington Opera, you can enjoy world-class opera performances set in the stunning setting of Wormsley in the Chiltern Hills, with personalised support from our very dedicated and friendly Membership and Box Office team. Members are offered priority booking to secure tickets on the dates of their choice.
Membership Levels
We invite our members to make an annual priority booking ticket request for the Festival season. Booking for the 2025 Season is now open to members.
A suggested upper ticket limit is provided for each membership category. We will do our best to accommodate any requested tickets beyond the suggested limits, but for the most popular performances this may not be possible. Members celebrating a special occasion are welcome to request tickets for a larger party and should contact the Box Office to discuss availability.
Once the priority booking request allocation is complete and seats are confirmed, members will be offered the opportunity to secure further tickets from those remaining, prior to public booking opening.

Ingrams Circle members enjoy a very close association with our work, with the opportunity to meet the creative teams involved in the productions and to attend rehearsals.
This category is named after Leonard Ingrams whose vision it was to start Garsington Opera in his garden at Garsington Manor in 1989.

Whilst we welcome Ingrams, Constellation and Patron level members at any time, Affiliate members have the option to become a Friend or Special Friend when space becomes available.
