Alvarez Emerging Artist Award Winners' Concert

We are delighted to announce a special performance from three of our 2024 Alvarez Emerging Artists’ Award Winners, which will be the first of our new Garsington Studios Concert Series.
Holly Brown, James Geidt, and Nancy Holt return to Garsington Opera with a programme that celebrates their work with us last summer, as well as showcasing some of their favourite repertoire and looking ahead to our upcoming season. Hosted by our Artistic Director, Douglas Boyd, the evening has been curated by pianist Anna Tilbrook, who will also accompany our singers.
The evening will begin from 6.30pm with a complimentary glass of wine, before the performance commences in the Kia Ora Studio at 7pm on Wednesday 5 March 2025.
After the performance, guests are able to purchase an additional two-course meal with wine. Please note that our dining capacity is limited, so be sure to book your tickets for this early.

Coq Au Vin – Calnan’s chicken thighs, slow cooked in red wine with smoky pancetta and mushrooms
