Ahead of your visit in the summer, discover more about L’elisir d’amore in this insight talk combining historical context from leading broadcaster and scholar Sarah Lenton with musical excerpts performed by singers on our Young Artists’ Programme.
Sarah Lenton has entertained Garsington audiences at Insight Talks for many years with her deep knowledge of opera imparted with a lightness of touch for which she is well known. Sarah has spent her life in the theatre principally at the ROH, Glyndebourne, ENO and broadcasts for the BBC.
Illustrated with extracts from the opera sung by Alvarez Young Artists.
